Stepping Stones
2nd-5th grade

Sunday school is available during the sermon for children ages 2nd-5th grade from August -June. The classroom is located off the overflow space in the sanctuary. Children return to their parents/guardians during the closing song.

Children ages 2nd - 5th grade meet together to experience and explore the ongoing Story of God, that starts in the pages of the Bible and continues to our lives today.  Children begin the worship service with their families, are dismissed during the message portion of our service, and then rejoin their families at the end.  During this time, kids are given opportunities to enter God’s Story, and then live into and live it out together.  Just as with adults, we want our children's lives to more and more reflect the life and love of Jesus.  Children leave each week with resources to help equip families to continue this faith formation at home.  We believe children are a vital part of the Church TODAY!  Their sense of belonging in the life of our church family is so important to their faith formation, so we seek to provide opportunities for participation, service, and intergenerational gatherings to build these relationships.
